I’ve finally succumbed to pressure from my friends to start writing a blog about my life, my experiences, my adventures. I’m the sort of person that enjoys the journey. I’ll always try to find the funny side of something. I will make fun of events, people and experiences - because, in my mind, if you ignore all pre-conceptions and concerns on bias they are funny or a great learning experience. This is never meant to be offensive, although it may accidentally come over that way.
I think that I am open and fair. Everyone is equal and capable. Doesn’t matter your race, color, creed, sexual orientation, appearance or anything that makes you different. That’s the only thing that is important - we are all different and with that comes the opportunity for both great experiences and great learnings.
We’re all human - so we all make mistakes and we are not perfect!
We’re all human - so we all appreciate love & recognition!
We’re all human - so we all want to grow and learn!
So - enough of excuses - I hope you can enjoy life's journey with me.

This blog will cover a variety of topics.
I travel extensively. As I’m presently living in China there will be a lot of China experiences, but also across Asia.
I play and coach sports. I’ve played Rugby all my life. Strong believer that the character a team sport like Rugby brings you sets you up for life.
I eat too much. I love to cook, but also will eat anything. I’ve tried Scorpions, Spiders, Beetles, Silk Worms to name just a few things.
I drink too much. I love Single Malt Whisky and I have got into the latest Gin craze and will settle down with a decent beer, when I can find one in China.
I’m a gadget fanatic. I can tell you I have bought more headphones than I will ever use ! My latest love is Trekz Air by AfterShokz (https://aftershokz.com/products/trekz-air) These are bone-conduction headphones. So I can hear the world around me and still have music and make calls. I bought the Titanium version, a little heavier and less comfortable. Upgraded to the Air and they are awesome. Don’t expect heavy beats or audiophile sound quality, but they mean I’ve stereo music all the time, walking, running, gym, cycling and still hear cars, announcements or just talk to the people around me. Awesome !
