Hot Noodles with Sesame Paste

I’m off on another adventure - this time to California for a niece’s wedding. Not to do things the straight forward way - I’m going on a direct China Southern flight from Wuhan to San Francisco. No idea how I found this - but here’s hoping it works!
I’m writing this blog from the Taxi, on the way to the airport, having arrived last night at about 10pm from Nanchang. To be greeted by a long taxi queue and Black Taxi drivers trying to get a fare for 3-4 times what it should be.
Leisurely morning, with breakfast of the Wuhan delicacy of Hot Noodles with Sesame Paste. I asked for it spicy. Wasn’t sure they understood this, so then announced I was Chongqing-Ren - I.e I came from Chongqing. This was clearly understood and more Chilli added. Only issue was they now started to talk to me only in Chinese !
Back to the noodles & the reason for the Blog. Awesome !
A simple noodle, with a super rich & creamy Sesame paste. Small amounts of beef, green onions and pickle on top. The chili paste added gave it a great kick.
That was worth coming to Wuhan for!
